Check Out Our New and Improved Website!

My website and my blog have one big thing in common, I neglect them both. In all fairness, the blog is easy. The only thing I need to do to update it is log in and type. The website is tricky. I don't know where all those files are out in cyber land, but I do know that they have done a good job of hiding themselves from me. So when I finally decided it was time to update my website, I knew that I would need professional help.

Out of the blue a Chilean company contacted me offering me their services. They wouldn't send me anything through email and finally pestered me into giving them an hour of my time in Vina. To make a long story short, they came to Vina via bus to show me two websites they design "for me". To be blunt, I hated them both. One looked like it would work better for a utility company and the other was very childlike. The cursor was a ladybug, hum.

I told them that I didn't want an entire new website, but I was interested in updating what I had. Do you know what they did? They yelled at me. They told me that they were not willing to change the websites (that I hadn't even ask for in the first place), and that I had wasted their time. After all of that they said that they would still be happy to work with me though.

It was an interesting sales tactic to say the least, try to scare and guilt me into buying something I didn't want or need. Too bad it didn't work, because right after they tried to berate me into buying I found Jennette (you guys can't see this but once I wrote her name, the clouds opened up and a ray of heavenly light shone down on my computer).

The website speaks for itself, but before I show you all I would like to say a few things about her and her business Make My Blog Pretty. She contacted me right away to set up a time to take about what I wanted. She actually LISTENED to me and transformed my website into the professional site I always know it could be. Bonus: her prices are SO REASONABLE.

Without further ado I give you..................... viviendapasiva.cl

  1. I've had the exact same experience with web designers in Chile. Well, maybe not quite so extreme, but still. When I started working with Jennette, it was like the hallelujah chorus started signing! She's awesome, isn't she?

The website looks SO great, by the way!
