Its Getting Hot in Here!

It's Getting Hot In Here!

Hehehe I have always wanted to say that.
As some of you may know, I now live in Nashville TN. My observations thus far about my new home, holy mother is it hot. Seriously, coming from Vina del Mar, Chile where there is a cool sea breeze all day to middle Tennessee where the humidity is so high I feel like I can swim in the air is a pretty big change.

Christian is experiencing the exact opposite. It is so cold in Chile that even indoors he can see his own breath. Most Chileans don't heat their houses (us included) because energy is so expensive. If Chileans do heat their houses they use a gas heater that has no ventilation which is actually poisoning them slowly. It gets so cold though that that pesky little fact is overlooked.

There is one family in Chile though that isn't being poisoned or freezing, guess who it is?????????
That is right, we installed the greenhouse! Christian's observations about the greenhouse... "it really works Keri, it get REALLY warm in there". My observation, I want one of those for my house. One day when I grow up, my house is getting a greenhouse, and I will grow veggies in it and you can all come over and have some salad and stay warm in the winter.

So without further adieu...the greenhouse.

This image was taken from inside the home. The greenhouse is attached to the living room, providing light and heat.
The last two images are taken from the outside of the home. It looks pretty snazzy.
